The Short Grass Arts Council (SGAC) is a non-profit community arts organization devoted to nurturing, promoting, aiding and advising a broad spectrum of the arts through programming and partnering with educational, cultural and community entities in order to provide quality, accessible art experiences for Central South Dakota. We are “Central South Dakota’s Cultural Connection.” SGAC was founded in 1974.
