Description

dba Ships of Discovery, is a non-profit, publicly-funded, archaeological research and educational organization founded in 1989. The institute fields surveys and excavations in the U.S. and various Latin American and Caribbean countries, conducts conservation and analysis of artifacts, and promotes education and better understanding of the past through scientific articles, popular books and lectures, and the design and fabrication of museum exhibits.

Directed by Dr. Donald H. Keith and Dr. Toni L. Carrell, Ships of Discovery is a well respected organization that is internationally recognized for its research and public outreach.
