The Foundation is entrusted with preserving, interpreting, and promoting the Civil War history of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Our goals are threefold: To protect the battlefields, to tell the story of the people and history of the war in the Valley, and to promote visitation of not only the Civil War history in the Valley, but the entire region.
