Funds raised through Great American Bake Sale support Share Our Strength’s national and local efforts to end childhood hunger in America by 2015. Share Our Strength helps close the gap between nutritious food programs and families in need. They help develop lasting solutions for hungry families- the difference between feeding a family tonight and ensuring that they never again have to worry about their nest meal. The money given to this organization will be used to pay for free breakfasts and summer meals at schools for children in need.
