Description
Shaping New Worlds is an educational and cultural non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Vermont. While moving with the rapid growth and technology of the culture of today's world, we remember the importance of learning from our elders, the natural world, and ancient traditions. We ask, "What can we learn from indigenous ways that is applicable today?" SNW is rooted in the way of council, a way of speaking and listening from the heart, which is used for personal sharing, teaching, decision making, problem solving, and strengthening of community. We collaborate with groups and organizations that foster this sense of connection, communication, and community particularly in our schools and empower youth to be the change they want to see in the world.
