Description
The Shalom Community Center is the only day shelter in Monroe County, IN serving people experiencing homelessness and poverty. The Center provides a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental environment in which people receive a wide array of services, including legal aid, employment counseling, and emergency assistance. Shalom brings together more than twenty social service agencies and functions as a central access point to empower individuals to develop their assets to the fullest extent possible.
