Shades of Pride is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency formed to create opportunities to acknowledge, celebrate and include the diversity of North Carolina’s African American LGBTQ community through events open to all. The agency also works to deliver programs that increase awareness, prevention and control of HIV/AIDS, diabetes, breast and prostate cancer and other health disparities affecting minority populations.
