Description
Sexual Trauma & Counseling Center (STCC) is the leader in directing local efforts to eradicate sexual violence in our service areas of Abbeville, Greenwood and Laurens counties. Our mission is to provide services to adult and child victims of sexual violence and their families through community education and an advocacy model. Since inception in 1992, STCC has grown from one employee to a staff of 18 employees and 60 trained volunteers providing comprehensive programs in counseling/advocacy, training/education, and specialized children's services. In 1998 The Child's Place, a child advocacy center, was added under the umbrella of Sexual Trauma & Counseling Center expanding our specialized children's services to include Newberry County.
