Description
The Sexual Assault Center started in 1978, is the only place in Middle Tennessee that specializes in the treatment of rape and sexual abuse victims. Our counselors are specially certified and trained in these areas and work with approximately 700 victims a year. With treatment we are able to successfully restore emotional health to children and adults, both male and female. We take a holistic approach of working with the entire family. Beyond individual treatment, we have group therapy sessions for children, teens, men, women, and families of survivors.
