Seton Academy


Seton Academy, formerly known as Elizabeth Seton High School, was established in 1963 in South Holland, Illinois. Founded by the Sisters of Charity of the Roman Catholic Church, the all-girl school prided itself on its reputation as being “where all the smart girls are”. Boys were first admitted in the Fall of 2003. One thing has never changed—Seton’s commitment to academic excellence. Focusing on a college-prep curriculum, cutting-edge technology, a values-driven environment, and a corp of top-notch educators…. Seton Succeeds!! In recent years, 100% of Seton Academy graduates were accepted into the college or university of their choice. 2006 Graduates received over 1.5 million dollars in college scholarships and grants. Every Seton student is issued a laptop computer, eliminating most text books and a mountain of paper products.Seton offers 8 athletic programs for both boys and girls. Our Boys Basketball team was named to the top ten in the region.
