Description
In these times of economic turmoil, SCIL, a consumer directed agency, joins with others in forming a safety net keeping persons with disabilities and activity limitations connected to programs and services. The goal is empowerment—enabling consumers as they explore options and develop life plans that will allow them to live independently in community. Our staff, most of whom are disabled, teaches independent living skills and self-advocacy and provides information and referrals. Our stated goal is: Inclusion, Access, and Self-Determination.
