About SERT - Special Equestrian Riding Therapy
Therapeutic equine assisted activities for individuals with special needs. Provides physically, mentally, and emotionally challenged individuals of all ages an opportunity for growth through horsemanship. SERT offers lessons designed to improve communication skills, speech, motor skills, balance, muscle strength, coordination, self confidence, self control SERT activities give participants the opportunity to practice skills needed to face fears, communicate feelings and access strength. Riders experience a sense of accomplishment and show pride in their new skills. SERT lessons are conducted be registered instructors certified by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.
