Description
This Horse Rescue program is unique. We rescue horses that have been abused, neglected and abandoned. In restoring the horses to physical and emotional health, we invite children with similar backgrounds (abuse, neglect and abandonment) to work with the horses. The children groom, clean and ride the horses and in the process heal their own broken lives. Children learn many things while working with our rescued horses; communication, boundaries, self-esteem and more.
