Description
The September Concert is a series of free concerts held annually on September 11th. Musicians of all backgrounds, genres, and levels of expertise join together to bring music anywhere and everywhere people gather, in an attempt to our skies with music.
Our mission is to
- bring communities together
- reaffirm our hope for peace
- celebrate life and our universal humanity
Our goal is to spread the message of peace through the magical power of music. Concert are held in all areas of our city, our nation, our world.
In 2006 there were 110 concerts in New York City, 50 U.S. Cities, and 35 International Cities.
Our event is based on the principles of musical freedom, equality, and accessibility, and the spirit of giving. All concerts are free.
