Description
The Foster Grandparent program is a mentoring program that matches low income seniors with special needs children. The Foster Grandparent works with the children on a one-on-one basis at schools, head start centers, child care centers and anywhere there are at-risk youth. The program is part of the Corporation for National and Community Service's Senior Corps.
Senior Resources of Guilford is the program's sponsoring agency and provides services to Guilford County's senior residents and the adult children of seniors.
