Senior Community Centers’ mission is “to provide quality and compassionate services for the survival, health and independence of seniors living in poverty”.
Senior Community Centers (SCC) is transforming the aging experience for this population through a network of comprehensive, integrated programs and services aimed at addressing the often inter-connected challenges low-income seniors face, including hunger, mental and physical illness, loneliness, isolation, and homelessness.
Through our “continuum of care” we focus our efforts in three key impact areas – meals, health and wellness, and housing – each of which plays a critical role in helping seniors not only survive, but thrive.
