Sembrando Flores is a grassroots, non-denominational, faith-based HIV/AIDS and Social Services Organization in Homestead, FL. The ministry focuses on providing humane care, personal advocacy, and social activism. The mission of Sembrando Flores, Inc. is to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS in South Miami-Dade County by addressing poverty, violence, and health issues using a faith-based compassionate care approach-providing emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual support. All services provided are free and include: substance abuse counseling and education for youth, adults, and families, health screenings and referrals, counseling and intervention for victims of abuse, HIV/AIDS education and counseling, social services advocacy, and transportation and food bank resources.
