Description

SEEC is nonprofit agency with a mission “to enable persons with developmental disabilities who have significant needs to live and work as contributing members of their community through individualized advocacy and support.” We provide services to some of the most vulnerable and underserved citizens in our society: people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. Our goal is to support them as they define and seek their American Dream. The American Dream, while different for each person, shares similar characteristics such as control over where we live and with whom, where we work and achieve personal wealth, our leisure activities, and having a person or people who are significant in our life.

SEEC provides services and supports to children and adults with mental retardation, autism, cerbral palsy and other disabilities that impact their daily lives. SEEC serves individuals and families in Montgomery County, Maryland.
