Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, www.feedoc.org, established in 1983 is working to eliminate hunger in Orange County. According to the 2000 census there are 615,000 people at risk of hunger in Orange County. Since 1983 we have distributed 245 million pounds of food through our hunger relief programs including: Brown Bag for Seniors, Child Hunger Strategy, Mobile Pantry, Emergency Food, Farm to Family, and Grocery Rescue.
