Second Chance Pet Adoptions, a non-profit 501(c3) No-Kill animal rescue, is dedicated to the memory of animals who were caged, hunted, beaten, tortured, starved, chained, exploited, abandoned or simply ignored. The mission is to find permanent, loving homes for every animal and to reduce the overpopulation of cats w/ an aggressive trap-neuter-return program. SCPA is a 100% volunteer organization relying solely on donations (no government assistance) to provide services for animals in their care.
SCPA educates the public to the proper care/ needs of their pets, provides info on existing animal cruelty & abandonment laws, and informs the public of the importance of spaying/neutering their pets. They provide a service to the community w/ pet adoptions designed to benefit both the animal & adopting party. The adoption process includes a veterinary health check & screening the prospective owner. If they are not compatible, pet are taken back to again be offered for adoption.
