Description

Seagull Industries for the Disabled is a private, non-profit social service agency serving mentally retarded and developmentally challenged individuals in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Our mission is to facilitate improvement in the quality of life of the individuals it serves through advocacy and the provision of a variety of educational, social, vocational, and residential programs designed to encourage achievement, self-reliance, and economic independence.

Seagull's largest program offers an assortment of vocational training opportunities. Adults learn to perform packaging, light assembly and fulfillment services for local businesses. Facilities are located in Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach. In addition, off-site training opportunities prepare clients for further independence by facilitating their work in the "real world".
