Description
Scleroderma is a chronic and potentially fatal autoimmune disease that affects @300,000 Americans, mostly women, by causing excess collagen which hardens skin and organ tissue. Our mission is threefold: to provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families affected by the disease of scleroderma, to promote public awareness of the disease by education through seminars, literature, and publicity campaigns, to raise funds to enhance medical research to improve treatment and ultimately find the cure for Scleroderma.
