Description

Welcome to Schiff Natural Lands Trust, Inc. and the home of Schiff Nature Preserve. Our 423-acre tract of preserved land is located in Mendham Township and Mendham Borough, Morris County, New Jersey. Schiff owns additional land throughout the area and holds about 50 acres in conservation easements totaling over 640 acres.

Schiff's mission is to acquire and preserve open space, serve as a model of environmental and educational stewardship, and improve the ecological value of natural areas using best management practices. We maintain an active nature center open to the public for environmental education, research and passive recreational activities consistent with the preservation of natural areas.

The Schiff Nature Preserve offers ongoing programs including nature walks, an Environmental Book Club, birthday parties, home school classes and so much more.
