Description

Scenic Land School is a K-8, private, non-profit (501(c)3) school located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The school is dedicated to the education of children with Dyslexia, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) and other learning differences. The school maintains an average class size of 8 in order to provide an individualized education for every student and ensure rapid academic achievement. The average time for students to reach grade level or above is bewteen 1-3 years. At that time, the student is returned to the regular school environment to continue a sucessful school experience. Because learning differences do not discrimate between the wealthy and poor, the school continually seeks tuition asistance for the hundreds of children that are turned away each year.
