South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault:
SCCADVASA IS . . .
A statewide membership coalition formed in
1981 consisting of all the domestic violence
shelters and rape crisis centers in South
Carolina to represent the critical needs of
victims/survivors of domestic violence and
sexual assault.
OUR PURPOSE . . .
• To promote vital services for
victims/survivors of domestic violence
and sexual assault
• To network with other providers
• To monitor and in?uence public policy
and legislation on domestic violence
and sexual assault issues
• To af?liate and work with regional and
national organizations of similar
purposes
• To promote awareness of the social
and personal costs of domestic
violence and sexual assault
