Organization Purpose: S.T.A.R. Ranch is an animal rescue sanctuary providing 24/7 care primarily to hoofed animals but dedicated to providing a refuge for abused and neglected animals in the form of shelter, holistic healing and medical care. After the successful completion_ of rehabilitation S.T.A.R. Ranch seeks forever homes for every horse, no matter how long it takes.
Mission: To rescue and rehabilitate equines as well as other hoofed animals means never turning any suffering animal away and providing them what they need to recover to adoption status. The function of removing the at-risk animal; ultimately working within the bounds of the law of the Haywood Co. Animal Control when deemed necessary is always a last resort. “Desperately needy animals come to S.T.A.R. Ranch for rehabilitation and adoption to safe permanent forever homes no matter how long it takes.
