Description

The Sexual Assault Victim Advocate (SAVA) Center’s mission is to provide crisis intervention, advocacy and counseling for all those affected by sexual violence and provide prevention programs through community outreach and education.

The SAVA Center was awarded the "2012 Excellence in Sexual Assault Advocacy Award" by the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault. In 2011, SAVA provided over 17,000 different services to 617 victims in Larimer and Weld counties. These services included 650 rape crisis hotline calls and 2,243 individual and group therapy sessions. The prevention program reached 10 middle schools and four high schools with a total of 6,772 youth participating in prevention education activities.
