Description

"The Saranaloka Foundation supports western Buddhist nuns (siladhara) in the Thai forest lineage of Ajahn Chah and nuns who are part of the Theravada Bhikkhuni Community (bhikkhunis) who practice in the Forest Tradition. Saranaloka sponsors the nuns to visit and teach in the United States and has established a nuns' community, the Aloka Vihara, in California."
