Dedicated to helping people with and researching learning disabilities and other not well understood neurological conditions that leave many unable to fulfill their potential, misdiagnosed (often with pyschiatric illnesses) and alone.

Sarahs Place is committed to practical solutions and interventions that work to make real differences in people's lives.

Sarah's Place has three goals. First, more effective interventions and treatments. .

Second, education of the public. Public education on why "trying harder" is not always the answer and on the frustrations and defeatism some "trying" may cause is essential.

Third, research that sheds light. Too much research is now driven by what will maintain and further a scientist's career at an academic institution or the mercenary interests of for-profit entities. We can do better.
