Santa Rosa Charter School

The Santa Rosa Education Cooperative consists of three programs working together and sharing a common philosophy. The Santa Rosa Cooperative Preschool, for ages 2 through 5, the Santa Rosa Charter School, a public, K through 8th grade school and the Children’s Center, a before and after school enrichment program offered year round to provide our children a positive and consistent extension of their cooperative school experience. The mission of the Santa Rosa Education Cooperative is to provide a unique, high quality education and after school program for preschool through 8th grade. Parent participation, an international academic program, and a positive discipline environment combine to create a community of life-long learners and responsible world citizens. Our program focuses on the heart as well as the mind and addresses social, physical, emotional, cultural and academic needs. We provide the opportunity for children to construct meaning, principally through a developmentally appropriate inquiry based curriculum that is both enriching and educational. Our school provides the opportunity for this learning experience for parents and children alike.
