Description

The Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group (SCPBRG) was formed in 1975 to restore an endangered peregrine falcon population in California. The peregrine falcon was removed from the federal endangered species List in 1999 and we are proud to have played a leading role in that success. It is doubtful that SCPBRG founders Drs. Roush and Norris could ever have imagined the tiny group they formed in response to the near extinction of the peregrine falcon in California would last so long and accomplish so much. Today, we are a problem-solving resource to government, corporation, and university researchers who require our unique expertise with birds of prey management.
