Description
SCVH is a volunteer Hospice group that has offices in Santa Paula California. There is a paid staff in the office which is at the Methodist Church on Mill Street. Volunteers serve in a variety of ways to help families that need respite care. They are a non-medical Hospice . Additional services include transportation for medical appointments, loan program for medical equipment (ie. walkers and wheelchairs), food, diapers, and other needs. Some counseling for bereavement is also available.
In addition donated flowers are delivered to shut-ins and hsopitals, and a therapy dog visits the ill paitients in local resthomes.
