nonprofit that has acquired 1816 acres on Sanibel Island in FL w/the assistance of the Nature Conservancy thru raising over 10 million dollars. over 250 volunteers have put in more than 24000 hours last year fundraising, office work,finances, education, restoration, maintenance, retail sales, interpretation and consultation. over 2500 members support the work of SCCF.
