SPCSB’s mission is to assist individuals living with mental illness to reintegrate back into the community with the independent living skills and support necessary to once again become viable contributory individuals. At SPCSB we believe that the quality of our programs reflects our responsiveness to client needs and that recovery is indeed possible for individuals with mental illness. We assist clients in becoming aware that there is light beyond the darkness and tragedy that these ailments can bring. We provide a continuum of treatment for seriously mentally ill (disabled) and dually diagnosed (mental illness combined with substance abuse) adults in order to prevent further hospitalization , create opportunities for community reintegration, and extend an on-going safety net to ensure long term remission at little or no cost to clients, while maintaining the highest treatment and professional standards.
