Description
Sanctuary House began in Greensboro NC in 2001 to supplement services that had been cut to the mentally ill as a result of NC State Mental Health Reform. Sanctuary House provides both on and off-site services to the underserved in our community including psychosocial rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, education, employment and community support, and health/wellness education. Sanctuary House is the only group utilizing a clubhouse model psychosocial rehabilitation program in the Greater Greensboro area. The organization is certified by CARF (Commission and Accreditation on Rehabilitation Facilities) and ICCD (International Center for Clubhouse Development).
