Description
Established in 2002, the San Diego Public Library Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create, steward and support an excellent free public library system. The Foundation generates private sector support to supplement government funding, providing resources to respond to current and future needs at branch libraries and spearheading capital building projects, including the new Central Library.
The mission of the San Diego Public Library is READ:
