Description
In its 62nd year, the San Diego Junior Theatre is one of the oldest
youth theatres in the United States. Founded by Craig Noel in
1948 as the children’s wing of the prestigious Old Globe Theatre,
San Diego Junior Theatre now operates as a private, non-profit
corporation governed by a dedicated volunteer board of trustees
and a professional staff. It is our mission to give all children, regardless of heritage, religion, ability or level of interest, the opportunity to experience the life-enhancing skills which theatre arts afford.
