Description
A non-profit organization based in District 4 of San Diego, CA that aims at encouraging youth involved in their own community; primary focus this year is on literacy and finding volunteers to read to kids at Horton Elementary. Past successes of youth being involved in the community include: Chollas Park Clean Up; Envirofest, and other similar events that were spearheaded by adults, but successfully ran by young adult teens, pre-teens, high school graduates, girls and boys who came together and were able to witness the outcome of their diligence and teamwork. We will also be focusing on using spiritual healing to tranquilize any negative vibes stemmed from inevitable surroundings while growing up in an innercity district.
