Description

Salt Creek Ballet, located in Westmont, IL, is a dance school and pre-professional company dedicated to its mission to 1) offer high-quality training to students of all ages, 2) present professional-quality dance performances to diverse area audiences, 3) provide high-level performing opportunities for area dancers, and 4) encourage appreciation and awareness of dance in the community at large. Our goal is to offer students unmatched excellence at all ability, interest and age levels from "Small Steps," through the Vaganova Curriculum of dance education to our teen/adult classes. Under the artistic direction of Sergey Kozadayev and Zhanna Dubrovskaya, the company has also earned a reputation for dance performances of the highest professional quality. Repertory includes "Paquita," "La Sylphide," "Sleeping Beauty," and "Giselle;" and new ballet, jazz and contemporary works by local choreographers.
