The Sahara Conservation Fund (SCF) was established in 2004 to address the extinction crisis faced by much of the Sahara's wildlife. SCF implements its mission by taking action in the field to halt poaching and habitat loss, by supporting initiatives to reintroduce lost species, and by communicating the crisis faced by Saharan wildlife. Our approach is underpinned by international partnerships, especially with the world zoo community, and by empowering local people to take action.
