Description
Alternative Breaks is a student lead organization through Saginaw Valley State University that is drug and alcohol free which sends groups of college students around the country and world on university scheduled breaks. These students learn about social issues through community service where we partner with a non profit agency in a different community. Once the participants return they take part in a reorientation process, which engages the breaker again in their commuity doing service with the issue.
