Description
Safetyville USA provides safety awareness and skills training to children. By instilling safety awareness at an early age, we strive to build a more safety conscious community of future adults, parents, and employees. Children tour Safetyville USA with a volunteer tour guide, who leads them in pedestrian role playing. Along the route, in a 1/4 size miniature representation of Sacramento, they are exposed to potential hazards they learn to recognize and avoid. At Safetyville USA children learn by example. When Children understand dangerous situations, they learn to avoid them.
