Description
The Safe Zone Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to create educational multimedia projects that benefit the community. The Safe Zone's two main programs are Girl Fest Hawaii and Girl Fest Bay Area, whose missions are to prevent violence against women and girls through education and art. These festivals include film, music, art, spoken word, and dance complemented by a conference involving panels, lectures, and outreach workshops for children and adults that address themes such as body image, identity, empowerment, social progress and methods on how to prevent violence in relationships.
