Description
Safe Haven is the only shelter program in Middle Tennessee that serves families as an entire unit. For over 22 years Safe Haven has effectively served Metro Nashville and most of Middle Tennessee. Safe Haven has two shelter campuses and 6 transitional homes that serve15 families at a time, consisting of approximately 50-60 men, women and children. Our mission is to empower homeless families with children to live independently through spiritual, financial and social guidance. Safe Haven has an 81% success rate which puts them, regionally and nationally, in the top percentile of organzational success for a homeless social service program. Safe Haven does this with an overhead expense of only 15.3%. The organization is a registered 501 (C)(3) nonprofit.
