Description
Safe Harbor is a non profit organization that provides Domestic violence services to the FIVCO ADD district ( Boyd, Carter, Greenup, Lawrence, Elliott counties), in eastern Kentucky. We provide:
24 hour crisis line/referral,shelter, food, clothes, transportation, advocacy, counseling, medical advocacy, housing advocacy, support services for children, drug and alcohol, jobs, education, family living skills, home ownership, Rx, outreach services for victims not in shelter. We shelter over 300 women and children each year. We also provide Transitional Housing for families who need to stay up to 24 months in order to obtain sustained independant, successful living.
