Description
Safe Harbor is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization chartered in September 2005 to serve child-victims of sexual abuse and other forms of severe abuse and neglect in Tennessee's Fourth Judicial District.
Safe Harbor acts in unison with the Child Protective Investigative Teams outlined in Tennessee Code Annotated to investigate allegations of severe child abuse and continues working with the child-victim and non-offending family members throughout the trial process and the post-trauma counseling needed to return to a more optimal level of functioning.
