Founded in 1875 to minister to the growing number of German Catholic immigrants, Sacred Heart today ministers to Catholics who are attracted to its Franciscan charism and heritage manifested by its friars, to the mission of serving the poor in the surrounding Concord neighborhood, and to celebrating a beautiful and nourishing Liturgy.
