SAR is a non-profit community based organization which serves children and adults with mental retardation and associated developmental disabilities (DD). SAR's mission is to protect the rights of families and their loved ones, and that services and supports for family members are specific to the needs of the individual. It is, therefore, SAR's objective to advocate for a full spectrum of services are available now and in the future for people with mental retardation and associated DD.
