Description

Carroll County RSVP Program

Mission Statement of RSVP
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) matches the interests and talents of people 55 years and better with rewarding volunteer opportunities in their communities. Our senior citizens are a valuable resource to our communities. RSVP…the bridge between those who need and those who give!

RSVP (The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is part of Senior Corps, a network of national service programs that provides older Americans (55 years and better) the opportunity to apply their life experience to meeting needs in their communities. This year the Carroll RSVP Program is celebrating 34 years in Carroll County. Carroll County RSVP is the fifth largest RSVP Program in the state of Iowa with 463 volunteers. Last year RSVP volunteers served 56,061 hours in Carroll County at 42 sites and 83 jobs such as local schools, nursing homes, hospitals and non-profit agencies.
