Volunteer Center @ RSVP endeavors to serve its community by providing a corps of volunteers to fill important community roles, and to provide for its volunteers meaningful opportunities for community service relevant to their skills, abilities and interests.

RSVP Goals are as follows:

1. Encourage citizens of Allen County, with an emphasis on persons 55 years and older and others regardless of age, race, income or disability to engage in community service. The goal is to meet needs of the community and to provide a high quality volunteer experience that will enrich lives.

2. Meet the unmet human, educational, environmental and public safety needs of Allen County, without displacing existing workers.

3. Expand and strengthen existing service programs with demonstrated experience in providing structured service opportunities.

4. Support locally established initiatives that provide visible benefits to the participants and the community.
